>wonder if it's "detransitioners should have good access to care piece" or it's a thinly veiled message about how there should be more gatekeeping for trans people to access care to validate the feelings of detransitioners who think their care was medical malpractice

Seriously, you guys can repeat constantly that "trans rights and detransition research are not in conflict with each other", but that simply isn't true when you say your research should inform how trans people get care. For example, suppose you find that FTMs that are attracted to men are 10x more likely to detransition than the baseline trans person seeking care. Do you think it would be ethical to make that person jump through extra hoops to get care?
Today I read your research manifesto, which to be candid, I had not done previously. Yesterday and the day before I commented on the latest article. Later I replied to comments with some good points while drifting off course, oversharing, and becoming a bit directionless. I am struggling with my mental health and organizing my thoughts. So serious Substack writing is a challenge for me at this time. But your manifesto is concerning in some ways. I will be getting back to this when I can offer something constructive. When I can offer comment on what I believe to be problematic. Not to silence you, but instead hopefully influence your research model and raison d'etre. For now I will read in the background if at all.
Thanks, Kenzie (your unoriginal lipstick trans-lesbian who will publicly join in Pride --- waving her colorful freak flag high while privately submitting to the psychiatric & trans-medical establishment because she's fully involved and they hold power over her very trans existence --- just tell her who's dick to suck and where to sign!).
